Hi everyone,
Just checking in again after a bit of a hiatus,

Recently I joined the free online Sketchbook Revival Summit. I’ll do a separate post on this when I’ve completed it, but it has been so inspiring to see how such a wide range of artists use their sketchbooks and make their art practice a habit. I have posted a small watercolour that I made for my maman on Mother’s Day and I am looking forward to exploring this wonderful medium further. I have always loved the magic of watercolour and the way that even a small drop of colour disperses through the water, onto the paper.

I thought I would pop up a quick post to connect with you all so check back soon to see my post about the Sketchbook Revival Summit as I will list some of the artist involved and their processes, with links if possible, in case you are interested in looking into these artists yourself. You can see from my last posts under journaling that it’s been a while since I’ve posted, but I can feel a bit more space coming into my life so I look forward to putting up more blog posts soon.

Hope you all had a lovely Mother’s Day last Sunday,
Over and out (but hopefully not for too long this time),

Mrs Jones and Mrs Smith.
