I'm not sure if anyone will read this, but for those who have checked in over the year and noticed no sign of life on the blog, my apologies! I wanted to confirm that I haven't actually fallen down the rabbit hole, but just had a busier year and 1/2 of study than I was expecting. Have had lots of ideas for this blog but have come to the realisation that you actually have to put your ideas into practice! I'm currently underway with exams but am hoping to be more present in this space in future. Being the procrastination queen that I am (and I'm sure many of you can relate), I always manage to find something else to do, other than exam study! In fact recently, with Spring in the air, I've really been loving getting back into the water colouring. I have also been trying the Pomodoro Method for my exam study (25 minutes of work and 5 minutes of rest). Today, I very diligently followed this method.... except for the fact that I spent 5 minutes on study and 25 minutes on leisurely activities. Procrastinating on studying for my Roman history exam I created a card for my great-aunt who turns 92 on Monday. Because it's Spring and she loves gardening I have painted a little blue wren for her.
Having also used this post to procrastinate even further, I must now use the "Forest" app (an excellent anti-procrastination app, found on the app store) and go back to studying the Late Roman Republic leaders, else my notes on Caesar's dictatorship will be lacking.
Looking forward to future posts, heres to creative pursuits after exams.
Ciao, À bientot, and Adiós,
Mrs Jones and Mrs Smith.
